This is a uni-face token dating back to the 1890's. The token was for a Laura Evans Brothel located in Leadville Colorado. Made of stamped brass, the token is in surprisingly great shape considering all of the things it may have seen! Tokens were a big part of the economy during that time period, due to a large portion of trades being apart of the barter system.
